Take Part helps people gain the skills, knowledge and confidence to become empowered, enabling them to make an active contribution to their communities and influence public policies and services. The Take Part directory is an online resource providing information on Take Part learning.
The directory seeks to act as a central source of information signposting, organisations, materials and cases using Take Part methodologies, as well as being a space on which to draw awareness to current activities, events and community leadership opportunities.
The directory aims to support organisations across the community, voluntary and statutory sectors in the delivery of Take Part activities. So if you are a local authority needing to publicise governance opportunities, or a community group setting up a new community leadership programme, then this site could help you.
This site has been created as part of the national Take Part Programme, which is managed by the Community Development Foundation (CDF) and funded by Communities and Local Government (CLG).
The information contained in the directory can be downloaded as a hard copy document, or can be used online as an interactive tool to search for specific resources in more depth.
